Episode 20: Chit-Chat

The ride home...

*ATTENTION! Just want everyone to know we'll be taking another brief hiatus.  I found an apartment and will be moving in this weekend. Taking into account the arduous tasks of hauling all my crap out my old house, finding places to put it, getting the lights cable and internet access turned on, (and getting my truck fixed so I can get back and forth to work) It stands to reason that the art for FIGHT LIFE is gonna have to be put on the shelf for a while (I'll still be putting together the plot).  I'd also like to take this oppurtunity to say thanks to everyone that's been reading for the 20 weeks! It may only be one page a week, but I promise you it's no easy feat.  I appreciate you for making it worth the trouble.

EPISODE 18: Joker

17 year-old Andy Martin is having a rough go of it, life that is.  Between getting messed with by the school's star fullback (Ep. 2), back-breaking work at his dad’s salvage yard and his parents’ constant criticism at home, the poor kid can’t catch a break.  After a confrontation with his parents, thing go from bad to worse when he bumps into Benzo and his goons from the football team (Ep. 9-10).

His salvation comes in the form a young man who knocks Benzo loopy, who then kicked flush in the face by Andy in a fit of rage.  The mysterious young man is surprised by this and decides get Andy away, if only to discover where he learned to kick.  Still feeling the effect of Benzo’s assault, Andy stumbles, prompting the young man to support him and take him to his gym to be looked at.  The gym is unlike anything Andy has ever seen, he is then approached by one of the fighters…

UPDATE!

To everyone who's been following FIGHT LIFE the past few months, first off I want to say THANK YOU! Second, I want to apologize for going MIA for so long. Lately I haven't had time for much other than plotting and page layouts. I'm in the middle of a work performance evaluation at my current job, looking for a newjob, and I'm apartment hunting and it's pretty frikkn' nuts! Oh yeah, and I've been wrapping up the Anti-Hero 113 preview/pitch! S/O to Tragic Heroes Comics
. Thanks a lot for your patience! PEACE!
